Posted by: | CommentsAt S&A Homes, we continually strive to provide homebuyers with the best WV and PA new homes, and once again, we’re being recognized for all of our hard work. We are pleased to announce that S&A Homes made Builder magazine’s Builder 100 list as a top homebuilder in 2011! Not only did we make the list, but we even outperformed ourselves from the year before, moving up from 108 in 2010 to 86 in 2011.
Builder magazine ranks homebuilders annually based on their closings. We were recognized for our 293 closings in 2011, a 31 percent increase over the year before. The data is collected by Builder magazine from a survey of the nation’s top builders, and we couldn’t be more pleased that we made the list again. Muddy Boots Tour of Gettysburg New Homes at Deatrick Village
Posted by: | CommentsWell, the term Muddy Boots Tour may not be the best if we can continue the trend of sunny, 70 degree days into the weekend (cross fingers); but regardless of the weather, we will be offering tours of two of our most popular Gettysburg new home floor plans this weekend at our Deatrick Village community.
Our Summerlyn and Savannah plans are amongst the most sought after plans in our product portfolio, but due to their unique layouts and architectural styling are only offered in a handful of communities. The Summerlyn is a ranch plan, but doesn’t offer your typical old-school boxy layout. The home offers a spacious kitchen that opens to an airy living room and dining room. The home also features a large owner’s suite with walk-in closet, two additional guest rooms and an oversized covered porch.
The Savannah, on the other hand, offers a similar open, airy feel but puts even more emphasis on the large great room in the center of the home. This plan also gives buyers several additional options to choose from like a morning room and vaulted ceilings. Read More→

Introducing 5 Brand New Floor Plans for PA New Homes in Centennial Pointe
Posted by: | CommentsWe are in the PA new home business, so of course, we have a pretty good idea of what buyers are looking for. Great locations close to major roadways, downtown work areas, shopping and the best school districts always seem to top the list. And price point is more important now than ever. However, for some to gain all of these benefits, they often have to overlook the fact that their neighborhood looks a bit cookie-cutter, or sacrifice on amenities.
At Centennial Pointe, located just 1 mile from Robinson Town Centre and just 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, there is no reason to sacrifice anything for affordable convenience. This community not only features an amazing location close to everything, but also includes a proposed swimming pool, clubhouse, basketball courts and tot lot.
And now, there is something even more special about Centennial Pointe. Our brand new product line up was rolled out on Feb. 1, and includes 5 brand new, Craftsman style homes that definitely defy the typical 4 bed, 2.5 bath home. Quaint covered porches, cedar-shake style siding and completely unique interiors are just part of what define these Pittsburgh new homes. The charm of yesteryear is no more evident than in these homes, and yet homeowners won’t have to give up anything in terms of modern amenities. Read More→
